WCT Events is an event and destination management company that provides flawless service to high-end, multinational clientele. We specialize in corporate travel, seminars & conferences, and signature events, and regularly get rave reviews and do repeat business with top MNCs and Chinese clients. Now we are seeking an outstanding native English speaker to be our China Manager. The China Manager will work closely with the company CEO (based in the U.S.), develop & implement growth opportunities within China, manage key client accounts, and oversee the WCT Events team in Beijing.

You are

  • You enjoy events and conferences and understands how they create value for clients.
  • You're a great people person and communicator. Communication is key to success in this role, and we’ll need you to manage in English and Chinese, with the team, the CEO, and with both local and international VIP clients.

You will

  • Lead people and projects. Make sure that our events deliver beyond client expectations every time. Help team members grow through coaching, mentoring, managing and accountability.
  • Drive business development and sales. Expand our client base of multinational companies, Embassies, 5-star hotels and other groups.

Qualifications

Experience in hospitality, travel, or corporate events preferred, but not required. Professional proficiency in Mandarin strongly preferred.
